ABOUT ME
Carly Dorfman, M.S., CCC-SLP
Lead Speech Language Pathologist
Parent Educator
I am a licensed, certified, and credentialed pediatric speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience treating children of all developmental levels. I specialize in a child and family centered approach using evidence-based best practices to improve speech, receptive & expressive language, fluency, and oral motor skills.
I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of Miami and her Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University. Since 2014 I have been certified by both the Association of Speech Language Pathologists & Audiologists and the Florida Board of Speech Language Pathology & Audiology. I have treated both pediatrics and adults in a variety of settings including schools, skilled nursing facilities, and private clinics.
I am also a parent educator leading infant and toddler enrichment classes in the community and providing resources and support to parents/caregivers.
I live in Parkland, FL with my husband and two young children. I am happiest at the beach, watching cooking shows, and spending time with my extended family and friends. I can’t wait to meet you and your family!

We believe the best results come from individualized treatment that doesn’t feel like work! Using a play and routine-based, family-centered approach, we offer simple solutions for long-term success.

Starting with a clear assessment of the child’s current abilities, we specifically tailor our treatment plans to fit into each family’s daily life. We find that the best results occur in the family’s natural environment with parental involvement, so we specialize in at-home therapy that creates a fun while functional atmosphere. Small tweaks to simple moments like diaper changes and bath time rituals create stress-free, ongoing opportunities to support speech and language.

By offering engaging and easy communication development strategies, we cultivate an enjoyable experience for both children and parents. These interactions become something that both parent and child welcome within their daily routines, vs something seen as additive work. With re-evaluations every six months and an adaptive training mindset, we work closely with all clients until they reach their full potential.

Baby and Me Classes
Play, Learn, Talk, Explore
KIDnection's unique classes utilize play, language, music and sensory/art activities to stimulate and support all areas of development. Caregivers will feel empowered to support their baby’s learning and development using the time and resources already available to them.

All classes incorporate opportunities for caregivers to share and connect and support each other too.
Classes are led by Carly Dorfman, a licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist, mommy, and parent educator specializing in babies and toddlers. She brings her passion of teaching parents how to connect with their little ones in a way that supports growth,development, and curiosity to each class.
